Since Deco 969 is the first luxury high-rise multifamily project in downtown Fort Worth, the groundbreaking had to make an impact. The guests included elected officials, C-Level Executives, community leaders, investors and key project stakeholders. As the guests arrived on that hot Texas afternoon, they were greeted by Norman the Longhorn, luxury florals from Justine’s Flowers,  live music from David Tribble, cold adult beverages and bites from the World Famous Joe T. Garcias. After a brief presentation from Councilwoman Beck, Downtown Fort Worth Inc. representative Larry Anfin and Southern Land Company Founder/CEO, Tim Downey the guests were presented with a framed print of Fort Worth designed by Love Local Coffee Shop.
